Doctrinal Statement
 We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was the Eternal Father (Jehovah God) made visible, apart from whom there is no God. Hence, our formula for water baptism by immersion is, according to Acts 2:38, "in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins." (1 Cor. 8:6) We believe in One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by holy men as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (1 Peter 1:21) We believe without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angles, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Tim 3:16) We believe that God was revealed to us as Father of Creation, as Son of Redemption, and as The Holy Spirit a Comforter. (Eph. 3:9; 4:6; St. John 14:26) We believe in the Virgin Birth. Jesus both human and Divine. (Matt 1:23; Luke 1:27; Col. 1:19, 2:9) We believe in the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, The Holy Ghost, which as poured out in Jerusalem over 1900 years ago. And it is the same Spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. (Acts 1:4, 9) We believe in the New Birth, which is, water baptism by immersion, In the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the Baptism of The Holy Ghost; speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. (Acts 2:1-4, 38) We believe in living a holy and Sanctified life. We believe in divine healing, Holy Communion and foot washing. (Lev. 20:7; 1 Peter 1:15, 16) We believe in the glorious catching away (The Rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory to take His people to heaven. (1 Cor. 15:51-57, 1 Thes. 4:16-18) |
